OVERVIEW
No prior exposure to the Advaita Teachings is required, and no prerequisites are required, to enroll in the course. The course is applicable to all who are interested in Advaita, no matter where they might be on the "path." The seeker will read selected readings and then will be sent by e-mail follow-up questions on the readings. The teacher will review the seeker's responses and then reply. This will allow a seeker who cannot travel to the teacher's location to nevertheless have one-on-one instruction with the Advaitin teacher.

Then the seeker will move to the next set of readings and teachings.

The readings and teaching are presented in an exact order which has been used and tested over time and proven to have guided seekers to Realization.

All fees are payable by credit card and are assessed prior to the seeker moving into the next level and prior to shipment of the reading material. Material fees include the price of the books, the e-mailed lessons/questionnaires, and the responses.

(The seeker can receive a 10% discount if paid in full at the beginning. All materials for the entire course will be shipped in one package. The fee will be reduced accordingly if you have already purchased your own copy of some of the reading materials. SYLLABUS

LEVEL ONE

The seeker will read four books. These are typically completed in a week or two since these first readings are fairly straight-forward content; however, the entire course moves at your specific pace.

There is no time-limit for completion of all four levels of the course.

PLEASE NOTE: while the subject matter in the Level One readings might be considered radical by some persons, others consider many of the beliefs that are taught to young children to be fairly radical as well. These readings merely invite the seeker to enter into a mode of questioning, or at least to revisit in an objective fashion some of the beliefs held by many persons that, in turn, hold surprisingly-powerful sway over them.

During Level One lessons, some discover that charges of Advaita being "anti-religion" are unfounded, especially when it is learned that Christ offered the Advaita Teachings during the last three years of his life. In fact, it will be learned by those who complete all four levels of the course that there are "Seven Steps in the Journey to Reality" and that the end of the third step is the religious or spiritual step.

So some of the readings in this section will invite an impartial look at some of the sacred cows in this and other cultures; other readings will present information that will assist seekers in answering some of the oldest questions of all, such as, "Who am I, really?" and "How did I get here?" and "What happens when this life in the relative existence ends?"

The seeker sends notice that the readings are complete.

The questions will be sent.

The seeker writes her/his responses and e-mails then back.

Responses are made.

Then the seeker moves to the LEVEL TWO lessons.

The seeker will read three books:

The process varies here: The seeker sends notice each time a reading is completed.

Separate questions will be asked after each reading.

The seeker will return answers.

Responses will be sent.

Then the seeker moves to the LEVEL THREE lessons.

LEVEL THREE

The seeker will read two books:

THE ESSENCE OF THE TEACHINGS (The Simplicity of Realization)

FROM THE I TO THE ABSOLUTE (A Seven-Step Journey to Reality)

Again, the seeker will send notice after reading the first book.

Questions and responses will be exchanged.

The same will happen after reading the second book.

Then, the seeker will move to the LEVEL FOUR lessons.

Course and material fees for Level Three: $85.00

LEVEL FOUR

The seeker will read two books:

CONSCIOUSNESS/AWARENESS: THE NATURE OF REALITY BEYOND SELF-REALIZATION

(Peace Every Day When Abiding as the Absolute)

and

FROM THE ABSOLUTE TO THE NOTHINGNESS

The seeker will send notice after completing the reading.

Questions and responses will be exchanged.

Course and material fees for Level Four: $85.00

(If you choose to pre-pay for the entire course in the beginning, the fee for the materials and lessons will be lowered from $335 US to $305 US. Because of the reduction and the impossibility of pro-rating materials and lessons, there can be no refunds on discounted payments.)

To assist those who will be deducting the course fees on their tax returns, a certificate will be mailed to each seeker at the point of course completion.
